Frances Tiafoe has decided to make a coaching change and will no longer use the services of Diego Moyano. Tiafoe parted ways with Wayne Ferreira at the end of 2023 and hired Moyano but the partnership did not produce any notable results this year.
In 2024 with Moyano, Tiafoe has a 10-8 match record and his ranking has dropped to 21.
Tiafoe reached the ATP top 10 under Ferreira and the 2022 US Open semifinal. Tiafoe initially hired Ferreira in early 2020.
Moyano has previously coached Coco Gauff, Kevin Anderson and several USTA development players including Tommy Paul, Reilly Opelka and Stefan Kozlov. Tiafoe is currently being coached by childhood friend and former NCAA player Jordi Arconada.
