More Amazing Novak Djokovic Stats & Facts

The king of tennis Novak Djokovic smashed the record of 23 Grand Slams by winning his third Roland Garros title on Sunday 76 63 75 vs Casper Ruud.

But there are some more notable marks Djokovic achieved in Paris…

Djokovic is now the only man to win all four Grand Slams at least three times each.

Roland Garros 2023 was the 70th Grand Slam that Novak has played and now his record in Grand Slam finals is 23-11.

In his last 18 Grand Slam championship finals, Djokovic has won fifteen of them.

In his last 17 Grand Slam tournaments played, Djokovic has won 11 of them.

Having won the first two Grand Slams of 2023, Djokovic is now halfway to completing the Grand Slam of winning all four major titles in the same year. This is the second time in three years Djokovic has won the first two Grand Slams in Australia and Paris (and third time overall – the last man to win the Grand Slam was Rod Laver in 1969).

Djokovic became the oldest man to win the French Open title on Sunday, at 36 years and 20 days.

And the scary part is Djokovic’s assault on the history books is far from over. Coach Goran Ivanisevic said Nole is training harder than ever and his best performances may be in the future not past.
