Djokovic Essentially Calls Toni Nadal A Liar

This week Toni Nadal made his latest attempt to diminish and discredit the dominant excellent of Novak Djokovic, who has piled up the Grand Slam hardware over the last three years.

In a column this week in the newspaper El País, Toni Nadal wrote, “the tennis players of 10 or 15 years ago were better than those of now.”

“I don’t agree with that because each generation has a group of great tennis players that leads it. Now they are Alcaraz, Rune and Sinner. They have dominated most of the tournaments in the last two years,” said Djokovic after reaching the US Open semifinals, and once again he heaped heavy praises on Carlos Alcaraz. “The way Carlos plays, defends, attacks. He is very complete, he would have won the same thing 10 or 15 years ago because each generation has its own champions.”

Djokovic continued to refute the statements of Toni Nadal, who has a history of trying to minimize the all time great achievements of Djokovic, who has won more Grand Slam titles and held the world no. 1 ranking longer than his nephew Rafael.

Djokovic said he’s not sure who is the superior player, himself at 36 or 26. “It would be a great battle for sure. I had more mobility and energy, but now I have more experience and I’m stronger mentally. I try to be better every year because it’s the only way to face today’s youth to win a Grand Slam.”

Toni Nadal did not provide any plausible evidence to support his biased claims and agenda that the ATP elites from fifteen years ago – Tomas Berdych, Richard Gasquet, David Nalbandian, David Ferrer, Andy Roddick, Ivan Ljubicic, Nikolay Davydenko, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Gael Monfils, Gilles Simon, James Blake and Juan Martin Del Potro – are superior than the ATP elites of today.

Djokovic will play 20 year old American Ben Shelton and Alcaraz will face Daniil Medvedev in the 2023 US Open semifinals.

Scoop Maliknowski- Toni Nadal just spews everything out of jealousy it seems like these days specially after his dear nephew Nadal is not in the news due to non play. This, I suppose is one way to surface and say they are still around! Also why didn’t he mention his esteemed charge Felix AA… what he has done for him in terms of coaching is nowhere to be seen in FAA’s game nowadays, his early exits are a testament to that when instead he should be winning more… he has good talent too as could be seen when he was playing in the Hopman cup in Australia. Really hope that he will consider having a new coach who will do differently than what it was with Toni Nadal.

Cyndy, Uncle Toni is an anti Djokovic propagandist. Djokovic 24 forces Uncle Toni to get on his knees and bow to the Lord of Tennis Novak Djokovic. Whatever he tries to say and spin Novak below Rafa and Roger is just fake news rubbish. It’s a shame Rafa and Roger can’t just concede who the Muhammad Ali and Lord of Tennis is…Novak Djokovic.

Scoop Maliknowski – so great as well as super happy on Djokovic winning his 24thGS! Also can’t imagine as to why Roddick (whose face looked sorely disappointed and disgruntled) as he presented the trophy to Djokovic! Oh blimey! I suppose they were picking lots to see who would be doing that as well as questioning him during the presentation ceremony!!!! Djokovic being Djokovic answered all brilliantly sans show piece t/shirt alongside Kobe Bryant… and secondly was I the only one who noticed that almost all of them (commentators included) were pronouncing his name literally as “jokerVic” instead of j Djokovic … but he won number 24 … so great indeed. Well done Djokovic!

Cyndy, Roddick was an intentional choice by USTA and he and Novak have a very extensive and colorful history, which I will not detail again, but I’m sure Roddick was uncomfortable having to face Novak and serve him his 24th Grand Slam trophy. He mumbled some deferential nice words to Novak at the end of the trophy transfer. My guess is USTA selected Roddick to do this expecting Novak to have lost. It really is a wonderful closure to the year, the fake news media and deep state tried to assassinate the character and career of Novak Djokovic but they failed miserably.

How true yes Scoop Maliknowski….their smiles at the presentation seemed too forced and Roddicks facial expressions were something else…as you said they must’ve expected him to lose in four or five sets but he won in straight sets. Evil never prospers and hope Djokovic goes on to win a few more.

Cyndy, Goran revealed Novak intends to play in the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. So that’s hopefully five more years of Novak Djokovic. And ore Grand Slam titles for sure. Wonder if Roger will agree to serve Novak one of his future Wimbledon trophies? )

  • Sam · September 11, 2023 at 9:06 pm

    Who’s Toni Nadal??? 🤔

    😹

  • Cyndy · September 11, 2023 at 10:08 pm

Scoop Maliknowski— indeed I too was wondering on that if in a future Wimbledon win for Djokovic, whether Federer would do the Roddick thing. I remember you had mentioned that Nadal will not get to his level best now that he has not been playing for a while but there is talk that he will do a comeback… ‘prolly’ to win more slams to get equal with Djokovic. That’s why uncle Toni is talking/prepping etc the way he is … making all kinds of funny statements etc…. in fact most people want him to win more slams when he makes a return in November? He could be there for the next which is AusOpen. And so the plot thickens!

  • Cyndy · September 11, 2023 at 11:11 pm

Scoop Maliknowski— it would have been a nice gesture from the USTA.,after Djokovic’s win, to bring out a cake with the numbers 24 on it for him to celebrate as after all he is currently the lone man to achieve this unique feat. To quote from an Asst Sports Editor in my local daily — “When he retires, his species will be extinct.” If you remember the French Open bought out a cake for Nadal on his 14th title there. I’m sure he would not have minded it though. In Djokovic’s own words “I really did my best to keep things quite simple..” and “treat this match where I just need to win.”. Nice simple words from the greatest.

Toni Nadal is doing more propagandizing lately than successful coaching. He’s one of the leaders of the anti Djokovic smear and discredit campaign.

  • Scoop Malinowski · September 12, 2023 at 9:02 am

Cyndy, Djokovic would not eat cake or anything the tennis establishment attempts to feed him 🙂 Yes it’s hard imagine anyone emerging who will be superior to Djokovic but we all thought the same thing when Sampras finished and when Federer took over. But then Rafa and Novak happened. But Djokovic is the perfect storm and he may end that trend and never be exceeded or surpassed.

  • Scoop Malinowski · September 12, 2023 at 9:09 am

Cyndy, Impossible to see Federer putting himself in an inferior position of serving a Grand Slam trophy to his archest rival, the symbolism of that would be very discomforting for the Federer ego. Hope he proves me wrong though and does do it someday. Rafa is finished. He’s 1-9 in his last ten matches, in his last Grand Slam he was routed by McDonald and I saw no sign of any injury, just an old fading declined player taking a beating. I don’t believe he had a surgery. Just needed a long break to try to recharge for one more last hurrah. Nadal is an illusion now, a ghost of himself. Rafa winning one more Grand Slam is the longest of longshots and it’s being attempted out of desperation and perhaps also the giant revenues a comeback would provide for the tennis establishment. Sounds like he will be wheeled out for the AO after the exo tour in Nov. Dec.

  • Cyndy · September 12, 2023 at 11:44 pm

Hahahaha too funny on the cake bit Scoop Maliknowski!! Yes I agree too that anything edible or drinkable would be highly dubious at this stage. And you are so right on Nadal and his supposedly big comeback., so interesting to read.. thank you for always responding, always appreciated by me!

  • Scoop Malinowski · September 13, 2023 at 8:52 am

Thanks for your interesting comments Cyndy, I always enjoy to see your name and comments )

Right, Scoop—it would probably have poison in it. Think Dr. Rashid Buttar! ☠️

  • Scoop Malinowski · September 14, 2023 at 12:33 pm

Or loaded it with illegal peds to set up a false positive test?

  • Sam · September 18, 2023 at 5:30 am

Good thinking, Scoop—never thought of that one! 👹

  • Scoop Malinowski · September 18, 2023 at 8:43 am

The only reason I thought of it was the Pacquiao team alleged Mayweather was in control of USADA and Travis Tygart and they suspected Mayweather would rig a fake positive drug test on Pacquiao. And that’s why Pacquiao refused all of Mayweather’s crazy drug testing demands. Which was part of Mayweather’s ducking schemes which delayed the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight for six years until the head of CBS SHowtime finally forced Mayweather to stop ducking Pacquiao and that’s the only reason the fight happened, Mayweather intended to duck Pacquiao forever. So everything that happens in boxing can and should be applied to tennis.

  • Sam · September 21, 2023 at 4:32 am

So everything that happens in boxing can and should be applied to tennis.

    Agreed.

Well, in tennis, the drug-testing is so pathetic that you can get away with murder almost, so even if someone did spike Djokovic’s drink with some serious PEDs, he probably wouldn’t have much to worry about. 😆

Basically, in tennis, they only catch you if they want to. I really doubt Halep was worse than many others. Although she’s probably guilty, I believe she’s mainly just being used as a scapegoat: “See, we really DO test for doping in tennis!! And we caught Halep red-handed. So, you can bet your bippy that if Serena were actionally using, we’d have caught HER [sic] too!!!” 🙄

  • Scoop Malinowski · September 21, 2023 at 9:03 am

Also establishment has seen enough of Halep winning and they want to replace her kind with the fresh new favorite faces, Cocomania, Leylah, Emma, Townsend, Montgomery, Baptiste, etc. Good to see Tursunov is co-coaching Kudermetova in Guadalajara. Expect instant big results from her.

  • Sam · September 24, 2023 at 5:15 am

Yeah, they’re done with Halep. And you can rest assured that no black player will never test positive for anything illegal in tennis. 🤫

  • Scoop Malinowski · September 24, 2023 at 9:10 am

Yes they canceled Halep and no chance any prominent or non prominent black player will be caught cheating (black privilege).

  • Scoop Malinowski · September 25, 2023 at 5:42 pm

Djokovic: Before we have created PTPA I have spoken to both RF and Nadal and they did not want to take part in it. I’m not criticizing anybody, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Would I love it for them to join us? Of course I would. But we keep going.

  • Sam · September 27, 2023 at 12:24 am

About their not wanting to join the PTPA, it would be interesting to know if Federer or Nadal supplied any actual reasons. 🤔

Well, Djokovic doesn’t need them anyway. 💪

  • Scoop Malinowski · September 27, 2023 at 8:34 am

Fedal are straight up establishment owned, they are anti anything Djokovic supports by nature.

  • Sam · September 30, 2023 at 5:15 am

Exactly. He says goodbye—and they say hello. 😜

  • Scoop Malinowski · September 30, 2023 at 8:33 am

Never imagined the day Djokovic would become such a giant of sport that he actually makes Rafa and Federer look like small cats, as Medvedev might say )

  • Sam · October 2, 2023 at 6:02 pm

    Small cats?

    MEOW!!!! 😼

  • Scoop Malinowski · October 2, 2023 at 9:07 pm

The scared cat meows the loudest )
