Be forewarned, this is kind of a rant but one that maybe others recognise as well in terms of the tennis media.
As probably a lot of people wonder here already, and as Michael Chang is quoting as saying in this book: Why a book on Marcelo Rios? Well... I have posted maybe one or two reviews here on Amazon total but I think this deserves one. If not just because of the book itself but also the subject matter. And believe me I realise this will also seem probably like some form of soliloquy.

The former ATP #58 agreed to meet up after his afternoon of work at the Water Club on Longboat Key, just a few miles north, to discuss in detail his 2002 Australian Open match against Roger Federer in exchange for a copy of my book about Marcelo Rios. The Colony, From Tennis Paradise To Ghost Resort

You've heard of The Colony. It's the famous tennis resort on Longboat Key in Florida. Nick Bollettieri started his first academy there in the 1970s. U.S. Presidents and world famous movie stars and sports celebrities have stayed there. Big time tennis champions have played exhibitions on the main show court adjacent to the hotel complex. Tennis Magazine hailed The Colony as the #1 tennis resort in the USA seemingly every year.

Novak Djokovic just destroyed Ferrer in a fashion we have rarely seen, in less than an hour and a half.
"This could be the best tennis, from start to finish, Djokovic has ever played," complimented Tennis Channel analyst Justin Gimelstob.

Sloane Stephens Shocks The World

Serena Williams stated earlier this year that she believes Sloane Stephens will someday be the world's best tennis player. Those were words of extremely high praise, which may have floated by the ears and not taken seriously by some veteran pundits.
