Status: ATP no. 485.
Ht: 5-9 Wt: 140
DOB: July 28, 2000 In: Licata, Italy
First Tennis Memory: I start to play tennis with my brother (Davide) in my city Licata, it’s pretty small, like 20,000 people. My first memory is when I came from football club, because I was playing football, I saw my brother playing on the court, I said, I want to play with him.
Tennis Inspirations: Give everything. I don’t have a number. I just want to finish my career, I do everything, I do all my best and let’s see the future.
First Famous Player You Met Or Encountered: Paolo Lorenzi is my first one, when he was in the Challenger in Sicily, he was 27 or 28, I was 13.
Current Car: I don’t drive actually.
Last Book Read: Becoming Supernatural: How Common People Are Doing The Uncommon by Joe Dispenza. You should read it.
Greatest Sports Moment: My first win against a top 100 in Perugia was a Challenger 125, against Elias Ymer.
Most Painful Moment: Maybe this year when I went to Monastir for a Futures and I won one match in five tournaments. It was the worst.
Favorite Tournaments: Not really. I just want to play on hard courts.
Best You Ever Felt On Court: With Ymer I played really good. Today I play really good (vs Guido Andreozzi, won from 1-3 down in third set, 6-3). Actually against Ymer it was my first main draw Challenger 125. So that ones my best match.
Strangest Match: Not that weird. I like when I’m under pressure. Like when I go 3-1 down like today. Because that kind of situation you have to stay more close with the score. I like the pressure.
Why Do You Love Tennis: Because I enjoy it. I enjoy the fight, I enjoy the battle, I enjoy the travel. I enjoy everything about tennis, bad and good things.
Funny Tennis Memory: Maybe some cats on the court at national tournament in Sicily.
Embarrassing Tennis Memory: No.
Favorite Players To Watch: Everybody. I like to watch tennis. Not too much, sometimes it’s boring.
Favorite Sport Outside Tennis: Football.
Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: Coffee.
People Qualities Most Admired: The quality… if they are funny, they are a good person inside. This is the best thing.
