Klizan Comeback in 2024

Former ATP no. 24 Martin Klizan is training for a return to the pro tour in 2024.

The 34 year old who turned pro in 2007 won six ATP singles titles. His last match was at 2021 Wimbledon qualies, a first round loss Zdenek Kolar 61 62.

Klizan is 6-1 in ATP singles finals and 4-0 in ATP doubles final. He beat world no. 2 Rafael Nadal at 2016 Beijing quarterfinals and Novak Djokovic at Barcelona in 2018.

His singles titles were 2012 in St. Petersburg, 2014 in Munich, 2015 in Casablanca, 2016 in Rotterdam and Hamburg, and 2018 in Kitzbuhel. In doubles, he won twice in Umag in 2013 and 2016 with David Marrero, Nice 2014 with Philipp Oswald and Rio de Janeiro 2015 also with Oswald.

Former ATP champion Dominik Hrbaty is helping coach Klizan’s comeback training at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL and public courts in West Palm Beach, FL.
