Insider Quotes On Djokovic KO Carlos

A prominent figure connected to the victor of today’s “match of the century” had some interesting comments on the glorious triumph…

I won’t give specific details (which you can probably figure out) just the direct quotes from a figure involved…

“For three days we’re talking about [smiles]. Every day. Too much. I don’t like that. But he likes it. Every single shot has to be planned. It’s impossible. But he played well. He played everything that he needed to play. But I don’t like this. Too much. Then when you concentrate too much on other guy, then you forget how you have to play. But he did it well. But cramps… He did something well.”

Scoop, did you ever think Casper the Friendly Ghost would make the final again? ๐Ÿ‘ป ๐Ÿ˜

What are your odds for the final?

Sam, didn’t see Ruud winning six matches but he’s a hard guy to pick against on clay. Seems like a million to one shot tomorrow, vs the greatest ever and 0-4 previously vs Novak but it will be entertaining to see what happens and how it happens.

Let’s hope Ruud summons his inner Viking and we get a long five set match. At the moment, he might have the better forehand and superior foot speed.

Just can’t see Ruud threating Djokovic, this is the defining moment of his career, nothing in the world is going to deny him tomorrow. I think Ruud knows it too and he knows his place and role in this special moment.

Su Wei Hsieh and Xinyu Wang won the Roland Garros doubles final vs Townsend/Leylah 16 76 61, the 37 yr old wonder continues to make tennis miracles happen with her magic yonex.
