Djokovic 360 Weeks at No. 1

By Scoop Malinowski

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic continues to distance himself from the other ATP all time greats. This week marks Djokovic’s 360th week as the world’s top ranked tennis player, now 50 weeks ahead of the six years older Roger Federer.

Last month Rafael Nadal won his 21st Grand Slam title, to move one ahead of Djokovic and Federer. The tennis establishment media has unofficially declared Nadal as the greatest of all time because of his 21 but the more difficult achievement in tennis is to be no. 1, more so than to win a Grand Slam (want proof? Just count the number of different Grand Slam winners and the number of no. 1s).

And Djokovic now has a vice grip lock on the number of weeks holding the world no. 1 ranking record, which Federer and Nadal will never be able to equal or surpass…

Top 10 weeks as a world no 1.
