A former professional tennis player who was a huge Novak Djokovic fan is no longer interested in supporting the Serbian superstar after witnessing up close and personal behavior which disgusted her at last year's Miami Open. "I was numb. Especially after being such a supporter, to the point that it would depress me if he lost a big match. I was floored, but at the same time glad I saw the light."
The former Nole fantatic and ex-top ten ranked player in the world shared details of the offending encounter: Â "No one was there, except me. Continue to read full article...
During the Miami Open I walked by the new sponsor Advocare booth a couple of times, as it was next to the IMG booth on the way to grandstand. Finally I took a sample packet of "Spark" and "ReHydrate."
I tested it before my own practice session and learned the product not only tastes great but it doesn't have that overload of sugar (like Gatorade and Vitamin Water) which can leave you feeling bloated when you drink too much during a long, hard match on a very hot day. The home country Australia had a perfect start to day one of their Davis Cup quarter final clash against USA in Brisbane.
USA was sporting 4 players in the top 30, with Australia only having one in 16th ranked Kyrgios, with the Aussies pinning their hopes on the brash and entertaining young gun.
But it was Jack Sock who was left speechless, after his 6-3 3-6 7-6(4) 6-4 loss to Jordan Thompson. Nick Kyrgios nearly beating Federer in Miami was the second most impressive aspect about the tournament aside from Roger's latest brilliance in his 2017 renaissance. Nick lost to Federer 67 76 67 in an astonishing semifinal but it was his behavior during this match which at times overshadowed the quality of his sensational tennis. From the outset the riled Kyrgios was heard shouting "F*** you!" and "SHUT the F*** Up!" at fans through the match which even provoked the usually cool Mirka Federer to boo Nick. Despite all the anti fan hostility against Nick he still nearly beat Federer and really should have won the match despite all the crowd negativity that he ignited. Nick obviously has the extraordinary talent. Continue to read full article...
