Carlos Alcaraz vs [11] Grigor Dimitrov

Alcaraz leads H2H 3-1 • Alcaraz is attempting to reach the Miami Open semifinals for the third straight year, having won the title in 2022 before reaching the final four in 2023; The winner at Indian Wells earlier this month, he is bidding for his 10th straight win • Dimitrov has posted his best Miami Open result in his 13th appearance here; He is bidding to reach the semifinals for the third time in his last four ATP 1000 events.

Daniil Medvedev beat Nico Jarry 62 76 and Jannik Sinner beat Tomas Machac 64 62 in yesterday’s QFs.

First meeting • Zverev, the 2018 Miami Open runner-up, is playing his fourth quarterfinal here; His Tuesday win was his 250th on a hard court in his career • Marozsan has won seven of his last eight matches; He is playing his fourth career ATP 1000 event, and has reached a second quarterfinal at this level; He has never reached an ATP semifinal

Rybakina leads 3-0 • Rybakina is endeavoring to be the first woman to reach consecutive Miami Open finals since Ash Barty did so in 2019 and 2021 (tournament not held in 2020); Since the start of 2023, Rybakina has reached at least the semifinals at seven of the 11 WTA 1000 events she has played; A two-time title winner in 2024, she is attempting to reach her fourth final of the season; She owns seven titles from 17 career finals • Azarenka has reached her fifth Miami Open semifinal and is two wins away from a fourth title here; Her 43 Miami Open wins are fifth most in tournament history; She enters the semifinal with 199 match wins at WTA 1000 events; Ten of her 21 career titles have come at WTA 1000 events; She is aiming for a spot in her 42nd career final.

First meeting • Alexandrova has reached her third semifinal of this season and is bidding for a second final; A quarterfinalist in Miami last year, this is her fifth appearance here; She has been to eight finals in her career and has won four titles • Collins, who announced in Australia this will be her final WTA season, has reached her second Miami Open semifinal, having previously done so in 2018 as a qualifier; She has won a pair of WTA finals and is looking to reach a final for the first time since the 2022 Australian Open; She was a two-time NCAA singles champion while playing at the University of Virginia
