Facing Federer Book Review: A Gift To Roger and His Fans

federer
By Soren Sondergaard

Very good book. It certainly made me realize just how respected and loved and important to the game Federer really is. Outstanding book, conveys that message. That’s why it’s a really good book…reading what others have to say about him. A lot of those stories have never been printed before. It’s a good book, especially for Federer fans.

The one who will like the book the most is Roger Federer. The author and everyone else is in third position. Brilliant, really. Of course, Roger’s gonna want to know what people have to say about him. It means a lot to him. It’s not a book that talks about his backhand for ten pages in a row. He wouldn’t read those ten pages. However, what players say about him is important to him. It’s a good book but also a gift to him especially but also it’s a gift to readers.

I’m sure top tennis analysts have advisors who have read it and highlighted excerpts and anecdotes that they didn’t know. It’s a good book for sports commentators in the tennis field. It will supply them with more to talk about during Federer match broadcasts.

Soren Sondergaard is a 4.5 player based in Fort Myers, Florida. Soren’s goal is to test his serve and volley “Mike Singletary” style of tennis in ITF Senior tournaments
