First Memory Of Tennis: With my family on holiday. They give me a racquet with my brother (Francisco). Three years old.

Tennis Inspirations: Well, from the beginning, Rafael Nadal. I’m lefty like him. Really motivated by him.

Last Book Read: I don’t read too much books. I watch a lot of series and videos. I watched Break Point and Mardy Fish.

Current Car: Audi (black).

First Famous Player You Met Or Encountered: I think Jose Acasuso, being my father was his coach. He came to my home sometimes, to have dinner with my family.

Greatest Moment Of Career: Winning Cordoba ATP (2021) in my country with family and friends, it was unbelievable (60 26 62).

Most Painful Moment: I think losing final round of Roland Garros qualifying. I had three match points, to be able to get into my first main draw. I couldn’t do it (vs. Henri Laaksonen 76 final set).

Favorite Tournament: Roland Garros for sure. Favorite tournament for sure.

Best You Ever Felt On Court: I think against Vinolas Ramos in final of Cordoba. I was enjoying so much the match. I think I believe I could do everything. Perfect for me. I think that.

Strangest Match: I have match suspended by wind. Suspended by rain. I think that.

Funny Tennis Memory: Playing doubles with my partner, the friends of the Tour. I have a lot of fun. I enjoy, we have a lot of fun.

Funniest Players Encountered: Frances Tiafoe I think is really funny. I train once with him, we play once. And he’s a really nice guy and all the time making jokes.

Favorite Sport Outside Tennis: Football for sure, favorite sport after tennis.

Three Athletes You Like To Watch & Follow: Lionel Messi. Neymar Jr. Stephen Curry maybe.

Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: Dulce de leche, with caramel.

Why Do You Love Tennis: I think since I was two years old playing it was kind of my life. Traveling.

Fiercest Competitors Encountered: I think Cameron Norrie, Tiafoe, Monfils and Alcaraz for sure. I play Carlos. I play him in Next Gen finals (2021, lost 40 41 24 43). He was unbelievable. The best player right now I think. I remember I play really good. I took one set so it was really nice game by me. But I remember like when I see the court and I see the rival. It was like the fastest player I ever played. Jumping all the time. You don’t know where to hit the ball because he’s everywhere. It’s incredible.

People Qualities Most Admired: I like to see how the top guys in the Tour, like, the things that they do, like normal people do. Like day to day. Like everything what they did, if they play PS4, they eat pizza maybe. Like normal things they do. Because we almost see them as aliens. It’s nice watching from close and seeing that they are normal. For example, with Alcaraz. I share a little bit of him. What I share is he’s like a regular guy, not a super hero. Like normal, humble, nice guy. It’s weird, top guys generally have a difficult life. He’s a really nice guy.
