Kei Nishikori is within striking range of winning a major title. He’s been to the US Open final and he was runner up to Djokovic last year in Key Biscayne. Now 27 and ranked no 4 in the world Nishikori (the second seed) would like to add to his eleven titles by achieving his greatest conquest yet. Â “That’s my next goal – to get to the top four (and) especially beating those top four players. I think I can win big tournaments like this and (ATP 1000s). That’s going to give me a lot of confidence for sure. That’s my next goal – to win the big tournaments. I think I’m on the right track. I think last year was a very solid year. I fight through the whole year without too much injury. So that was something I learned many things from last year. I think if I can stay healthy I will have some chance sometimes in a year.”
