ballnet An interesting exchange happened during the Harrison-Fish Tennis Channel match in Indian Wells yesterday. Jim Courier commented that he believes the Hawk Eye system has clearly improved the sport, then the other announcer in the booth (don't know his name) suggested that Hawk Eye and the elimination of arguments about controversial or mistaken line calls has taken away the element of players showing and revealing some of their personalities. isner Isner up two sets but Ward has bounced back to level it, now into the fifth set. Ward hung tough after critical let cord in second set tiebreak which fell USA's way but had it not Ward would have been up 5-2 instead it was 4-3. mrios Marcelo Rios, who lost the '98 Australian Open final to Petr Korda 26 26 26, is requesting an investigation into whether Korda committed a doping violation which possibly influenced the outcome of their match. Chilean tennis officials are backing the request by Rios, who would like the ITF (International Tennis Federation) to investigate Korda, who tested positive for a banned steroid later in '98 at Wimbledon.
