21-year-old Californian Vania King is a unique competitor. She smiles on court during a match maybe more than any other player in pro tennis today. But a sophomore slump almost forced King to give up her pro career in 2007 as her ranking and results plummeted. But she rededicated herself to tennis in 2008 and this year has been simply fantastic for her. King has a lot to smile about now, she has won a pair of grand slam titles in 2010 - the women's doubles championships at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open with Russian partner Yaroslava Shvedova.
