New York City incompetent mayor Bill De Blasio wants to defund NYPD in the wake of the George Floyd rioting and looting chaos.
The US Open and ATP want to stage the 2020 US Open at the Flushing Meadows National Tennis Center (without fans).
Worst case scenario…what if rioters and looters decide to target and attack the US Open while it’s being contested?
It’s possible security could be insufficient for the US Open and if a large swarm of rioters and looters and Antifa barbarians decide to racially target the US Open and tennis players, which are primarily White, is it possible the barbarians could overcome and gain control of the tennis fortress?
Could they even break into the Ashe Stadium player locker rooms and take hostages?
Perhaps the best chance to secure the grounds would be to construct a giant security wall around the grounds and hire armed security and snipers to shoot to kill if any barbarians decide to invade the grounds without a ticket.
Maintaining control of the grounds will be a challenge for the USTA but even more potentially dangerous will be to protect the people and event workers outside the grounds, in the parking lots and the commuters who use public transportation.
These are all valid concerns. The state of the nation right now is on high alert, and anything can happen at any time, especially with the mainstream media constantly igniting and inciting racial anger and division among blacks against everybody else.
Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic have expressed serious concerns about competing in the 2020 US Open – and they have every right to.
The United States of America right now is unstable and actually in the midst of a civil war, with innocents being attacked and murdered, historic statues being destroyed and countless small businesses ruined. Nobody knows if the instability and chaos will get worse or better by the time mid-August rolls around.
Credit to the USTA and ATP for trying to stay positive and staging the second Grand Slam tournament of the year. But some things are more important than the business of hitting a tennis ball.
The United States of America and New York City have to prove they are fit to organize and operate a safe sporting event, with sufficient security and safety for the public first and foremost before thinking about revenue generation.

At my tennis club a member told me his friend has access to a local NJ police department communications and he said looting is still happening uncontrolled in parts of NYC. The climate is still very bad and who knows it could get worse. It can happen at any time, especially with the media encouraging the chaos and “protests” as a good thing and the police being ordered to let it all happen. Thanks democrats.

Aren’t Trump and the republicans in charge though? We know Mark Esper didn’t want to use troops. However, Trump could have just sent in the police with water cannons, tear gas and rubber bullets AND make them keep up the pressure until the rioters yield. That’s what they do even in Europe, i’ll show example if needed. No need to kill anybody. What did Trump’s people say? They won’t sell tear gas to Hong Kong police against the rioters? Great. Then bombard the criminal mobs in the USA with it until they go home.
Who held back Trump when he wanted to make order? Under Obama there was a similar rioting, that wasn’t this radical, however, we knew they were going to get worse and worse. Why?
Because, if you watched, antifa criminals, when they attack and intimidate people and meet no resistance they always say “it works”, yes, cause they didn’t meet serious resistance.
The American police will have to reform itself if they want to get back their weight and authority in the country. Atm what i see is videos of the police being humiliated by criminal elements, the rioters pushing their middle fingers in police officers’s faces, blowing cigarette smoke at them and they’re just standing there doing nothing.
The American police have to work on their gang mentality. When a country has strong police, they pay back damage and humiliation triple times to looters like these, regardless of whether the country has left or right wing government.
Anyway, i think it’s important to point out Trump’s weakness here. And the weakness of the republican party.
I know it’s hard to talk about issues like these without bringing in race, well, i will avoid touching race, i’ll have to mention religion though.
A Christian should be open to work with people from other religions as long as they can put their religion aside in practical matters and work for the common goal.
However, when the papers were full of Ivanka’s conversion to Judaism Trump supporters should have been very worried already. Why? Because it showed she’s not a practical person. She could have just kept her traditions and religion and worked for her country.
Ivanka should have been better support for her dad, she should have been a young, energetic and pragmatic iron lady, instead, she’s trying to appease people who troll her on twitter about her dad.
People speculated that Ivanka did the conversion to be a “jewish power couple” with Kushner. Great. However, until now, they have been working only on empowering Israel, not Trump and America.
Ivanka could have ignored her mom’s religion. She also could have married a Christian guy. Instead, she married Kushner, a zionist focused on expanding Israel. And Trump did all for Kushner, was clowning at the western wall in Jerusalem, did everything for Kushner, he didn’t get back even a friction of that support.
Trump also fired lots of Christians for little mistakes or what he thought were mistakes, now he’s surrounded by people who are no support to him and who are just pulling him back.
So i don’t know if we should blame the democrats or Trump’s blindness and bad decisions. He should have just sent in the police with tear gas and rubber bullets and let them fight until there’s order.
That’s how i see it, I blame Trump’s bad decisions and weakness, his family’s selfishness and lack of support, his party’s weakness and disloyalty and lack of christian principles and morals. I know we do not do ‘facts’ on these types of threads. But Federer had a 2nd knee operation and is out until 2021.
Djoker, at his tour 2 days ago he said that Serbia handled the virus much differently than the US or UK did.
He is correct, Serbia has crushed the curve, almost zero new cases and zero new deaths recently. The US is averaging 20000 new cases and 1000 new deaths per day.
Djoker did balk at the restrictions the US Open might have in place. He is welcome to his opinion. But like he said, the virus situation in the US is night and day from the situation in Serbia. So he is arguing both sides at the same time.
The only thing linking any of the big 3 to talking about ‘riots’ was Kyrgios tweeting asking if the US Open should be played in NYC because of the ongoing pandemic and riots. He hashtagged the big 3 in his post to which they did not respond.

Serbians are also big Putin worshippers, last time Putin went there the people threw big parades. You know they thought it cool Russia annexed Crimea and they think for some reason Putin will help them grab Kosovo the same way, because of the Slav brotherhood or whatever.
But the biggest reason you see those pro-China banners is that Russia and China invest in Serbia bigtime. In my country too which is Serbia’s neighbour on the north. We will upgrade the Budapest-Belgrade railway line with Russian and Chinese money.
For Serbia these connections are necessary because they are not EU members and they have to do business with someone, for us also good because the other EU members don’t really like us, you know we’re not democratic enough etc. BTW our tennis tourney is financed by the Russian Gazprom too.
The reason the number of Covid cases and deaths is so low in Eastern Europe is the BCG vaccine. In case you read about “studies” that say there’s no proof those are fake news, we’re the biggest transit zone for people from heavily infected areas,also lots of our people commute to red zones like Lombardia but hardly any cases and deaths here, it most probably is because of the BCG vaccine.

Good point JohnnyTD about Russia and Serbia. Serbia’s two biggest sponsors are China and Russia.
The US has decided to pull back from the world stage the past 3 years. We have to remember that both China and Russia are stepping in to that void. US first is great, I try to buy US goods when possible and I am always vocal against US college tennis rosters that are majority foreign kids.
A Chinese company once copied and stole one of my chemical formulas and cost my company a lot of money.
But if we are going to push back on China on them stealing our technology and other violations, we also have to watch out for their best buddies like Serbians.
Djokovic’s family and friends are in Serbia and under control of Serbia. We do not know if Djoker is an enemy of the US because of the Serbian relationship with China and Russia. It would be wise for the CIA and FBI to monitor Djokovic and other Serbian and Russian players if they do come to the US. Same with anyone from China.

Despite the turbulent times, it’s also possible tennis can gain advantages. NBA and NFL are alienating patriot fans who have had enough of these millionaire athletes crying oppression and blaming whites for everything. Whites could reject the NBA and NFL and flat out stop supporting them. Tennis players have not alienated it’s fan base and tennis fans are starving to see real tennis again. The US Open could conceivably draw record TV ratings. It’s very possible. But first and foremost, security and police must make sure the grounds are safe for everyone and also the outer areas of the grounds because nobody knows where crazy rioters, looters, antifa could be lurking and if they feel brave to attack historic monuments and set banks and hamburger joints afire, they are capable of any insanity and any aggression by them must must must be discouraged and deterred.

Oh man. For every outstanding Ugo Humbert biofile, there’s another unreal stunt for the site with conspiracy theories.
Out of respect for the game, I hope that Scoop shuts down the site or the comments – the game does not deserve to be so maligned. If this site isn’t interested in being serious anymore, and the comments section is the problem and wayward theories that mean nothing, then out of respect for the game, its players, its fans,

Can’t it have both kinds of threads? Really if someone can’t tell the difference between the types of threads then it’s the reader’s problem. Scoop could ofc add separate categories for the different types or blog posts but the readers are supposed to be adults.
Anyway, it’s Scoop’s site so he’ll post whatever he wants to wherever he wants to.
You’re talking about the holy “game”, lol players are busy with posting half-naked pics and vids on instagram, the organizers are busy organizing, do you think they are disturbed by what’s written on this site? If they read it they would find it a cool place btw.
This site is very much alive and as you heard the best is yet to come.
Also there are many readers, my girlfriend, Betty is reading the site too but she’s Italian and shy to post because of her English.
I would be very happy btw if Scoop posted his “conspiracy theories” on our forum but ofc these entertaining threads bring lots of readers so why would he move them elsewhere.
Try running a site Andrew and you’ll know what Scoop’s doing makes perfect sense. The variety of the posts is great…
BTW i invite you too to tennisdiscourse.com, a relatively new tennis forum, just post whatever you want to, Scoop is admin there too, in case you wanna rant and rave about anything, like not enough respect for the “game” on tennis sites or whatever….
People should be grateful someone’s running tennis sites like this one where you can post your comments, would be bad with only instagram and twitter and their post length limitations.

Lots of conspiracies happening as the deep state attempts to steal power back from Trump, a whole lotta conspiring is going on. Look at the levers of power that is at stake. Actually, many years ago, “liberal” used to be a positive term, as in “liberal arts.”
