The WTA site headline revealed the big news: “The Venus Williams comeback tour is rolling on into Cincinnati.”
Yes, 45 year old Venus Williams, who has a match record of 9-34 in her last 43 matches, has asked for and been given a wildcard into the Cincinnati Open. 23 year old Cincy native Caty Mcnally also was granted a wildcard.
But Venus is the big story. This is not a “farewell tour”, it’s actually officially a comeback.
Which is surprising news because Venus has lost in the first round in the last three Grand Slam she played – 2023 US Open, 2023 Wimbledon and 2022 US Open. And she has not reached the third round of a Slam since 2019 Australian Open.
Venus got wildcards into 2024 Indian Wells and Miami Open but lost to Nao Hibino and Diana Schnaider. Indian Wells also gave her a WC into this year’s main draw but she didn’t accept it.
At 2023 US Open Venus lost first round to Greet Minnen, winning only two games.
Her last WTA win before upsetting Peyton Stearns at Citi Open this week was two years ago at Cincinnati Open where she defeated Veronika Kudermetova.
So it’s curious that this return to competition by Venus Williams is being marketed as a comeback and not a retirement tribute.
Maybe Venus has found the fountain of youth or has summoned her inner Martina Navratilova and George Foreman and she still believes she can still win big titles at 45?
If it’s all a choreographed production, it surely will sell, because Venus Williams is “a god of tennis” as one WTA player said this week. And her name and legacy are more recognizable than anybody currently competing in the WTA. Tennis is star driven sport and right now it lacks bankable stars outside of Coco Gauff.
High profile comebacks always garner heavy media coverage and interest. And this one by Venus Williams certainly will generate huge profits… if she can win matches.
Now if only the sister of Venus – the two years younger Serena – can get the competitive itch once again, the WTA will be counting the profits for years to come.

Just like his brother Serena, Venus seems to be having some difficulty living life outside the spotlight. But he probably feels that faking a pregnancy would be too difficult, so he’s decided to take the more conventional “comeback route” instead. 🤭

Sam, your analysis of the Williams is more than plausible. And considering how much trans is a part of he elites and entertainment, very possible. That French player and some of the Thais are suspects too. Macron’s husband/wife in France is another red flag. I saw France did it earlier with president Georges Pompidou who was married to “Claude.” Take a look at Claude Pompidou and tell me that’s not a man in drag. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claude_Pompidou So this trans stuff has been going on for a very long time.

Scoop, which French player are you referring to?
As for Claude Pompidou, I was able to find this snippet (translated from French) on the Web:
This isn’t the first time a First Lady has been the target of a conspiracy theory. Before Brigitte Macron, Claude Pompidou, the wife of Georges Pompidou, was also the target of a similar rumor.
Yeah, based on the photo you provided as well as others I looked at, that’s a very strange-looking “woman.” 😬
So this trans stuff has been going on for a very long time.
I guess so, which is really disturbing. 👹 Before Obama took office, I don’t ever remember the issue attracting public attention. And I’ll admit—when I first heard the idea about the Williamses being transgender, I thought it was ridiculous. But then when I dug a little deeper. . . . 🧐

Sam, Claude Pompidou was a man, there’s no doubt about it. They’re all pretty obvious now that we know what the satanic elites are doing. In tennis, in the white house, in politics, it’s all too obvious now.

Scoop, I guess that means the elites may have to shift strategies a bit. 😼

Sam, interesting Venus at US Open has partnerships sets with a Venus Barbie Doll and some almond nut company. Guess V will not be one and done with those sponsor partnerships!
