Tel Aviv Adores Novak Djokovic

By Scoop Malinowski

Novak Djokovic won his 89th career ATP singles title with a 63 64 victory in the final vs Marin Cilic. But the most noteworthy element of the championship win was the profoundly positive impact Djokovic made on the Israel crowds in Tel Aviv.

“Novak, now it’s your turn…You are a great athlete, but most importantly you are an incredible person and it’s a miracle that you came here. We all fell in love with you so much during this week.” – Trophy presentation quote.

Djokovic now has won three titles in 2022 and Israel now becomes the 18th different country the Serbian superstar has won an ATP title in – Austria, Australia, Canada, China, England, France, Holland, Italy, Japan, Monaco, Qatar, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, UAE, USA.

One of the most memorable, defining moments of the week was when Novak defeated Vasek Pospisil and then gave his match Head racquet to a boy seated in the front row, who was supporting Djokovic and created a special banner for him. The boy was overcome with emotion and tears in receiving his gift racquet. It was a another sensational, magical moment which Djokovic created in the sporting arena.

The impact: “You are a great example for a free man in a free world. Thank you for that”, says Ayelet Yonas, a brave, Israeli activist, with many supporters around her.

What Novak said when asked by a reporter about his faith: “Going too much into the private life, so I would not talk about it. I consider myself and open minded and open hearted person, that respects and embraces religions and knowledges that people have around the world, that would enrich my life and my family’s life. Been raised in a Orthodox Christian family, but I don’t limit myself to that.”

On being criticized for playing in Israel and his decision to reject the vaccine: “In terms of criticism, it’s part of what they (media) do. The media is not always so nice when there is an agenda. So I have to just deal with it.”

Djokovic said after the win: “It’s true that each tournament corresponds to a category and has an importance, but my goal remains the same: to win titles. Wherever it is, I am always happy to have the team I have and to see myself prepared.”

Djokovic is now is Astana, Kazakhstan to play the next ATP tournament. He practiced today with Cilic.

What Novak said when asked by a reporter about his faith:

Do reporters usually ask such personal questions?? 🧐

“Been raised in a Orthodox Christian family, but I don’t limit myself to that.”

    That’s a rather interesting statement. 😏

Sam, also a diplomatic one. If he misanswers that question, it could lead to a lot of trouble (Margaret Court!).

  • Sam · October 6, 2022 at 4:09 pm

Okay, I can see your point, Scoop. But in the Bible, Matthew 10:32–33 doesn’t paint a real pretty picture of such tactics. And thankfully, it seems that Margaret Court has nothing to fear in that regard. 😉

Do reporters ever ask other players about their faith, though? 🤔

Sam, did you see that when Court was invited back to Wimbledon this year for the ceremony and she said nobody would talk to her, King totally snubbed her. So awful, so unsportsmanlike. Court is the much bigger person and greater champion. No, no other players are questioned about their faith or religion, just Djokovic.

Sam, did you see that when Court was invited back to Wimbledon this year

No, Scoop, didn’t hear about that.

she said nobody would talk to her, King totally snubbed her. So awful, so unsportsmanlike.

Of course it is, but I can’t help thinking Court was kinda gullible to show up there. 🐥 I mean, what else was she expecting?

Court is the much bigger person and greater champion.

Yes, any intelligent tennis fan realizes that.

No, no other players are questioned about their faith or religion, just Djokovic.

Although he’ll be greatly missed, for his own sake, the sooner he gets out of that toxic minefield, the better.

Sam, it’s appalling how they treat Court. She had every right to accept the invite to Wimbledon for the centennial, it’s a shame on all the individuals who cold shouldered her, but that’s to be expected because of how rotten the tennis media has mistreated and misportrayed her. “The media has the power to make the innocent look guilty and the guilty look innocent.” – Malcolm x. Djokovic says now he is more motivated than ever to keep playing and win more titles. Happy to hear that. I’m sure the other players wish that weren’t true.

Scoop, yes, Court had every right to go, but if I were in her shoes, I would’ve just politely declined. I mean, why hang around with folks who hate you? 😐 Besides, she should be able to take great comfort in Matthew 5:11.

By the way, how did you learn about the treatment she got at Wimbledon? Was there an article about it or something?

Djokovic says now he is more motivated than ever to keep playing and win more titles.

Good for him, but it’s hard not to wonder what tricks the tennis establishment is going to pull next on him. 👹

  • Sam · October 15, 2022 at 4:03 am

Oh, also, while I think the treatment that Court received at Wimbledon was despicable, what about the treatment that Djokovic received in Australia this year? Did Court ever speak out against that? 🤔

If she did not, then it’s kinda hard for me to lose too much sleep over the cold shoulder she got in London. As a Christian, you have a duty to speak up about mistreatment of others too—not just when it happens to you.

Sam, Court did a long interview about a month or two ago with a journalist from UK in a major paper, she also said how Serena never gives her any respect. It’s horrible how the media has made her out to be a monster but the interview is great, she came across very well the writer did a fine job.

  • Scoop Malinowski · October 15, 2022 at 7:58 am

Sam, Court is never interviewed by any media in Australia, my guess is she was in support of Novak as in the recent interview feature she expressed no fear of the media virus.

  • Sam · October 15, 2022 at 1:04 pm

Scoop, I did find an article about her reception at Wimbledon, and read what she said about Serena. Some of her comments about her were actually pretty funny. 😊

Okay, thanks for the info about her never being interviewed in Australia. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt then concerning the Djokovic situation. I suspect that she’s wise enough to have avoided the jab like the plague too.

  • Sam · October 15, 2022 at 1:13 pm

Oops, looks like I goofed. Didn’t mean to refer to Serena as “her.” 😉

  • Scoop Malinowski · October 15, 2022 at 5:02 pm

I’ve seen photos of a few supposed hers in the wta but they actually look like hes pretending to be hers, 3 suspects. One from USA, one from Thailand and one from Estonia.

  • Sam · October 15, 2022 at 8:12 pm

Interesting, Scoop. 🍿 Two key things to look for are:

    1) For a man, the waist-indent point is below the belly button, but for a woman, above it. However, it’s hard to determine this unless the person in question is wearing a swimsuit. 😉

    2) The span of a man’s shoulders is about three times the width of his head, whereas in a woman, it’s only about 2.5 times.

  • Scoop Malinowski · October 16, 2022 at 7:49 am

Sam, I did not know this info, will apply it to the photos of the suspects…

  • Sam · October 18, 2022 at 11:15 pm

Glad to be of any help, Scoop. 😏

There are a lot more things to look for, of course, but those are two biggies.

For instance, have you ever noticed how broad Serena’s shoulders are—like a linebacker’s or something? 🏈 And both Serena and Venus have waist-indent points below the navel.

This seven-part series goes into lots of such issues concerning the Williamses: 🍿

Did she really have to remind us she’s a mother about 150 times?

  • Sam · October 22, 2022 at 5:34 am

Did she really have to remind us she’s a mother about 150 times?

That’s an excellent point. 😊 As an expert on tennis, can you recall any other “female” tennis player making such a show of motherhood? 👩‍👧 🤔

  • Scoop Malinowski · October 22, 2022 at 8:17 am

Not at all, like she knew she had to push the hard sell of the myth.

  • Sam · October 22, 2022 at 11:40 pm

like she knew she had to push the hard sell of the myth.

C’mon, Scoop—he’s said it 150 times already, and you still don’t believe him??? Well, what’s it gonna take to convince you? 160??? 😆

Actually, I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes around wearing a T-shirt at home that says, “I’m a MOM!!” just to convince himself. 😂

  • Scoop Malinowski · October 23, 2022 at 7:24 am

:0 I think Serena feels pretty assured the world is convinced, just awaiting the next gargantuan freudian slip like the “OTHER MEN HAVE DONE WORSE” shout at Carlos Ramos at US Open.

  • Sam · October 24, 2022 at 6:53 am

I think Serena feels pretty assured the world is convinced

And sadly, Scoop, for the most part, that’s true. Sheeple everywhere. 🐑

just awaiting the next gargantuan freudian slip like the “OTHER MEN HAVE DONE WORSE” shout at Carlos Ramos at US Open.

And what’s so interesting is that Serena said that phrase THREE times on the very same day—twice on the court in the heat of the moment (he repeated the phrase after a few seconds), and then later at the press conference when he’d had plenty of time to calm down.

What amazes me, though, is that many people can still explain away his shocking remark: “Oh, that doesn’t mean what you THINK it does!!” “Serena’s remark wasn’t that unusual.” “That still doesn’t mean Serena is a man.” 🙄 More than likely, these folks belong to the same crowd who’ve fallen hook, line, and sinker for: 1) the plandemic and the death jab; and 2) the “insurrection” hoax designed to divert attention from the stolen 2020 election. 🐣

Who was it again that said, “It’s easier to fool people than to convince them they’ve been fooled”?? 😏

  • Scoop Malinowski · October 24, 2022 at 7:50 am

Sam totally, that shocking line “Other men have done worse!!” was the smoking gun or house on fire. If Nick Kyrgios pulled down her skirt as a joke at Hopman Cup and showed a Steve Johnson, the media would call it a fake. And that would be the end of it. Pun intended ) All your analogies work, and it shows the power of the media to control the sheeple. “he who controls the information controls the people.” But the fake news media has been exposed. Just a matter of time until it’s game over for the puppet masters who pushed too hard once again.

Sam totally, that shocking line “Other men have done worse!!” was the smoking gun or house on fire.

True, but it seems that only those who are wide awake can actually see it, Scoop.

I tried, Scoop, but I think your pun may have gone over my head! 🙂

All your analogies work, and it shows the power of the media to control the sheeple. “he who controls the information controls the people.”

Thanks—yeah, unfortunately, the media have tremendous power to deceive the masses.

But the fake news media has been exposed. Just a matter of time until it’s game over for the puppet masters who pushed too hard once again.

It’s definitely encouraging that more and more folks seem to be waking up and smelling the deception. 👃
