Swiatek Signs with IMG

WTA world no. 1 player Iga Swiatek has signed to be represented by International Management Group this week, thus ending a three year collaboration with her now former manager Paula Wojtowicz.

Swiatek won her first Grand Slam in October 2020 at Roland Garros and this year has added two more Grand Slam titles – at Roland Garros and US Open. She also accomplished the longest match win streak in the Open era in women’s tennis (37) this year.

To this point, under the management of Wojtowicz, Swiatek has signed endorsement contracts with Asics attire and shoes, Technifibre racquets, and also Red Bull energy drinks, Lexus cars and Rolex watches.

The 31 year old Wojtowicz was originally hired by Iga Swiatek’s father in 2019.

Swiatek is the youngest player to win three Grand Slam titles since Maria Sharapova in 2008 and the youngest to win two in the same season since Justine Henin in 2003 (RG and US Open for Henin also).
