Novak Djokovic or Carlos Alcaraz are the true ATP Fan Favorites for their electric styles, charisma and People’s Champion qualities. Sinner has been frequently filmed looking awkward, wooden and uncomfortable in public situations.

[i]Annie Hall[/i]—wasn’t that Diane Keaton? I never saw the movie, but at the same time, I wasn’t a big fan of [i]Star Wars[/i]. Everyone at school seemed to think it was the cat’s meow, but I found it underwhelming. 😐
But anyway, yes, Sinner getting any kind of “fan favorite” award is a laugh and a half. 🤡

By the way, Scoop, concerning what you were saying in another post about the issue of equal pay in tennis for men and women, how do you think most ATP players feel about that? Not what they say publicly, of course, but what they really think? 🤔

Sam, Woody Hall always disgusted me. His films were turned off in seconds. Then when his private character was later revealed he became even more impossible to watch, if that’s possible. Woody Allen is one of the most loathsome creatures and least talented schmucks I ever saw in entertainment. I liked Star Wars, just the first one. Yes it certainly was a big deal in 1977, as was Rocky and Jaws and Halloween and Fast Times At Ridgemont High )

Sam I think every ATP player is against it – how could anyone not be? – but they know it’s forbidden to ever say it. I just learned Ginger Rogers did not get equal pay as Fred Astraire in their films, in fact Ginger said the lesser billed men in those films got a lot more money than she did, which is clearly very unfair. I am reading her book Ginger My Story which I found for $2, hoping she would mention her US Open mixed doubles adventure but so far nothing about it. She did mention tennis a few times, she was a fantastic player, she had the only clay court in southern California and BJK, Pancho Gonzales, Gussie Moran and others would use it.
