Positive Reviews For The Sarasota Open Experience Book

Elizabeth Moore Sarasota Open 2025 Day 2 by Janet Combs

The only book ever written about an ATP Challenger tennis tournament is getting positive reviews so far…

John Eagleton, former ATP Tour and Miami University player: “You’re amazing, the book has so many great stories.”

Dan McClure, nationally ranked player and former high school teammate of Vitas Gerulaitis: “Your book is amazing. I’m enjoying the short reads every night when I go to bed.”

Ray Collins, Sarasota Open tournament announcer: “The book is very user-friendly. I don’t want to get involved with big essays. I like the Q&A format.”

The Sarasota Open Experience is available at amazon books for $9.99 link

Fun read, picked up a copy at Sarasota Open at the concession table. You compiled a lot of cool stories about the various players who came through Sarasota. Interesting when you mentioned in the on court interview how Alexander Zverev played twice but never won a main draw match and then became no. 2 in the world and you suggested all the players who play Sarasota Open have the potential to be no. 2 in the world like Zverev.

John, it’s well known that so many players who passed through Sarasota early in their careers, graduated to top 50 and Grand Slam success. Kyrgios, Galan, Bergs, Dellien, Brooksby, Nishioka, Zverev, Nishikori, Sock, Johnson, Harrison, Young. In some ways I prefer Challengers than main tour events. The quality of tennis is the same level.
