Jordanian tennis player Abdellah Shelbayh has reportedly withdrawn from a tournament in Greece after being drawn to face an Israeli player.
Patrick McEnroe says Jannik Sinner is a combination of Novak Djokovic and Andre Agassi but did not mention clostebol.
Adrian Mannarino unloaded on Sinner: “I no longer believe in Santa Claus. If there are those who still believe, let them believe. but that’s not in my style anymore. The presumption of innocence has to exist. But it’s very surprising, of the 300 best players, the test positive ones are those who come first. I can understand that someone could have taken a wrong pill or bad vitamin but but it’s all still very surprising. I wake up every morning 36 years old and limping. Going out on the court against 20 or 25 year old players who are not clean is becoming complicated.”
Juan Martin Del Potro: “Novak has another level when it comes to crunch situations. He goes into absolute lockdown mode like a wall. You have to paint the lines to hit through him. That’s his biggest asset. He’s calm.”
Roger Federer is the ONLY tennis player to win 10+ titles on clay, grass and hard court: Clay: 11 Grass: 19 Hard court: 73.
10 years ago this week in Cincinnati, Roger Federer successfully unveiled the SABR (sneak attack by Roger) against Kevin Anderson, Roberto Bautista Agut, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic.
Sinner quarterfinal will be played before Shelton R16. Shelton will need to play four days in a row if he wants to win the Cincy title.
Elena Rybakina and Aryna Sabalenka will face each other in the Cincinnati Quarterfinals. Aryna leads the head to head 7-4. They’ve split their last four meetings. The last time they played, Elena had four match points, but Aryna pulled off the comeback.
Is it plausible that Jannik Sinner has not been drug tested since he failed two drug tests in March 2024?
Surprise Cincy semifinalist Terence Atmane has no clothing, shoe or racquet sponsor. He doesn’t even have an agent.

How do you know Sinner hasn’t been tested ?
Presumably the normal testing protocol applies in his case now he has served his suspension.

Catherine, we assume Sinner is being tested but given the suspicious nature of the tennis establishment we don’t know that for sure. If tennis was truly equal, the system would want to show the public Sinner is not being treated specially and he is facing the same testing as everyone else. But there has been no words about him being tested since the ban.

Nike Rolex ATP Head all want Sinner to play, they do not want him to risk another positive test and go through that disaster again. If he tests positive a third time, that might be a four year ban to a player without special privileges.

Mannarino after his recent match with Sinner:
“He played really well whenever it mattered, and that made the difference. At 5-4, he pulled out two untouchable aces, hats off to him,” the Frenchman said.”

Nice diplomacy by Mannarino after a well played match.
