Nadal Wins At Oaklawn

Pro tennis may be on hiatus for six weeks, but Nadal continues to pile up the victories.

“Nadal” won the tenth race yesterday at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Racing from the post position, the thoroughbred race horse named “Nadal”, a three year old colt trained by legendary trainer Bob Baffert, was a 5-2 favorite in the “Rebel Stakes” race of a mile and one sixteenth, a grade 2 category race. Nadal defeated horses, Basin, Excession, Silver Prospector, No Parole, Three Technique, Coach Bahe and American Theorem.

On Feb 9 Nadal also won the $200,000 San Vicente Stakes at Santa Anita.

Nadal is now guaranteed a position in the starting gate for the Kentucky Derby on May 2 at Louisville Downs.

Nadal, the son of a racehorse named “Blame” was a $700,000 purchase by Baffert last year as a two year old.

Right now Nadal is a leading favorite to win the Kentucky Derby. Imagine seeing Nadal’s name in the headlines for winning the Kentucky Derby. Federer and Djokovic could never do that 🙂

Thanks Cathy for sharing the rights to this exclusive photo, sure to be in demand soon by all the wires. Hope Rafa decides to visit Churchill Downs to fist pump and inspire his name sake to victory. Vamos Nadal. He can pay a visit with Trump at the White House on the way back home. 🙂
