13-time Roland Garros champion Rafael Nadal has recovered from his injuries in Madrid and is training at his academy in Majorca.
Nadal said on social media he is scheduled to arrive in Paris on Wednesday to compete in the 2022 Roland Garros.
Nadal will turn 36 on June 3.
As a result of his incomparable red clay dominance, Nadal has achieved an astounding 105-3 record at Roland Garros. His only three defeats since winning his first Grand Slam title there in 2005 were to Robin Soderling in 2009 fourth round, Novak Djokovic in 2015 quarterfinals, and last year to Djokovic in the semi. In 2016 Nadal withrdrew from the tournament with a wrist injury following a third round win vs Marcel Granollers.
