He told her on court, “I love you”

There is a woman public park tennis player who inspired a man to tell her on court, “I love you.”

The two potential lovers do no know each other outside of tennis and only meet at nightly pick up doubles matches for a couple of years, but this woman, in her 30s, has such a charming allure that the man, also in his 30s, is no longer able to resist.

He felt the strong feelings inside his heart and was moved to tell her the three most powerful words of all, “I love you.” He has told her about his feelings several times. Her response, “She just smiles.”

The man is not discouraged though. He is trying to persuade her to play mixed doubled at a future tournament to be held at the public park where they play.

Love is part of the tennis equation and always it will be – even though the famous actress Ava Gardner was quoted in her biography saying “Love is nothing.”
