Del Potro Launches Academy In Florida

Former 2009 US Open and 2016 Olympic silver medalist Juan Martin Del Potro has launched the Del Potro Tennis Academy in Boynton Beach, Florida.

Delpo’s academy on the site of Indian Spring Country Club, which has 26 courts, offers junior programs, after school programs, adult clinics, camps and private sessions.

The 36 year old winner of 22 ATP singles titles never officially retired but his career was hampered by knee problems suffered in a fall in Shanghai in 2018. He also endured four wrist surgeries earlier in his career.

Delpo’s “mission statement”…

At the Del Potro Tennis Academy, our mission is to foster the growth and excellence of young tennis players by blending high-performance training with a strong sense of community.

Guided by the legacy and passion of Juan Martín del Potro, we are committed to developing well-rounded athletes who excel on and off the court.

We strive to create an environment where discipline, dedication, and perseverance are the cornerstones of success. Our elite coaching team provides personalized instruction, leveraging cutting-edge techniques and strategies to help each athlete reach their full potential.

Beyond tennis, we believe in the power of community. We cultivate a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where players, families, and local communities come together to celebrate the sport. Through community outreach programs, mentorship, and collaborative events, we aim to inspire a love for tennis and a commitment to giving.

At the Juan Martín del Potro Tennis Academy, we are not just building champions; we are shaping leaders who will positively impact their communities and beyond.
