First Tennis Memory: “That I saw my brother playing and I just picked up his racquet and I started playing with him (age 5).”

Tennis Inspirations: “My inspiration…it was Maria Sharapova. I’ve always been looking up to her, like what she was doing and how she was practicing. And I was trying to copy her.”

Current Car: “I drive my mom’s car, Ford Mustang (black).”

First Famous Player Met Or Encountered: “Sharapova at IMG at Eddie Herr when I was playing under 12s. She was just after practice. I took a photo with her.”

Greatest Career Moment: “Wimbledon. Wimbledon juniors. That I won Wimbledon juniors in 2015.”

Most Painful Moment: “Probably when I had back injury and I didn’t play tournaments for two months.”

Favorite Tournament: “Wimbledon [smiles].”

Funniest Players Encountered: “Djokovic. He’s the funniest for me.”

Strangest Match: “It was back in under 12s Orange Bowl. When I won the match in a tiebreaker. And the girl just said, all of a sudden, ‘it’s 5-3, I’m up 5-3.’ In the tiebreaker. Which I already won 7-1. But the referee just came and said, ‘Replay the tiebreaker!’ So that’s the weirdest. Just replay the tiebreaker! I won it again 7-5. But I was like, How can you do that?”

Favorite Sport Outside Tennis: “Probably gymnastics.”

Three Athletes You Like To Watch & Follow: “I used to watch Alina Kabaeva. That was my favorite one. I like Simone Biles. I was in gymnastics when I was three. I saw her live competing and it was unbelievable.”

Why Do You Love Tennis: “Because I like playing games. It’s my favorite game. I can’t live without tennis [smiles].”

Funny Tennis Memory: “Butts up. The guys had to stand near the wall and I was hitting ten butts up. And I hit really hard. So that was a funny memory.”

Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: “Vanilla.”

Favorite Artist: “I like listening to all types of music but my favorite DJ is Avici.”

Best You Ever Felt On Court: “It was Wimbledon finals. Because I played against a girl I lost to four times in a row (Anna Binkova) and I honestly did not know how to play against her. I was just thinking I’m gonna come on court and enjoy it. But I wasn’t expecting myself to play that good. That was my best moment in life.”

People Qualities Most Admired: “Honesty. I like when people are honest and outgoing.”
