Nice video of Delpo engaging with fans in Delray after the win at Tennisnow – Great to see the gentle giant class act back in action – looked very good beating Kudla too –

Whoa – Tsonga loses in Rio to thiago monteiro who is ranked in the 300s – these shock upsets are happening more and more – shows how deep tennis is —

Tsonga took his appearance fee for a “250” and now he is off to the more important DC. These 250’s are jokes. Top seeded players dump, or bail if someone in the crowd sneezes, especially if it’s before Majors, Masters or DC. The promoters must pull their hair out.

Steve Johnson had a bad loss today too.

Delpo was great…if he’s now healthy and flowing – should be in the top5 mix..

Tsonga tsdidn’t look like a tsank tso me Harold – he was visibly very frustrated late in the third set and just missed the shots at the end – by very close margins – Thiago earned it –

Delpo is a huge star and great champion of the sport mm – he has been dearly missed for about two years now and the fans will surely embrace him and really get behind him now – he is perhaps the top threat to beat Djokovic in a major if he regains his top form —

I agree with u on delpo scoop….but not with any of your assessment on the little sh*ts coming out from the usta…smart money says that they will not out do the European kids

Delpo is a living legend – mm your pessimism about the young Americans is understandable but you’re in for a big surprise –

  • Moskova Moskova · February 18, 2016 at 7:16 pm

    I don’t like suprises lol

Imo – zverev, coric, Chung ot a completley unknown / under the radar type will get higher. than

Down goes delpo again…it will be a shame if he isn’t able to find his top form again..

  • Bryan · February 21, 2016 at 2:18 pm

Great to see a biofile of Delpo. I just told my GF his current car is a Honda Civic and she LOLed. She just upgraded but loved that car many years. That car is an indication of how Delpo is such an unpretentious athlete, one of the reasons he has so many fans.

“Tsonga loses in Rio to thiago monteiro who is ranked in the 300s”

I used to be a big fan of Tsonga’s but realized he carpet bags 250s and chokes in the majors. I’ve seen him clown around and not even try to win matches at 250s in France. Disrespectful to the game and his fans. Why get up early or stay up late watching him if he doesn’t even care?

Delpo never does that. Give an honest effort every match and you’ll garner more fans.

Thanks Bryan – Yes Delpo is pure class – it’s why he’s beloved all over the globe – he’s been in the background as a star to the other stars but I think now the fans will really embrace him and amp up the support several volumes – Tsonga did not tank that match to monteiro if he did he deserves an oscar nomination – monteiro earned that win in a very tense finale of a hard fought match –
