A new tournament has been quietly added to the professional tennis calendar, it’s called the “Legends Team Cup” which will be part of the ATP Champions Tour.
Legends Team Cup is being billed as “A unique team tennis series at iconic locations with 10 ATP stars captained by Lendl and Cash. A tennis experience like no other.”
The participants will include:
Team Pat Cash: Marcos Bagdhatis, Tomas Berdych, David Nalbandian, Tommy Robredo and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. Team Ivan Lendl: David Ferrer, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Lleyton Hewitt, Radek Stepanek and Tommy Haas.
“The route to Dubai” begins August 1-3 in the amphitheater in Pula, Istria. The finals will be held later in the season in Dubai.

Finding this new tournament more interesting and appealing than Laver Cup. Unfotunately Rafter, Rios and Safin won’t be playing in this inaugural event.
