adidas adizero Ubersonic 2 is an Ace shoe

Tennis shoes just keep getting better and better. adidas has achieved tennis footwear perfection with the new adizero Ubersonic 2, a brilliant creation of footwear machinery. Everything feels just right – low to ground feel, very comfortable, excellent grip and traction, and the look of the shoe can’t be beat. Clean white, black sole is my favorite color combination.

What more to say? This shoe feels as good as any shoe I ever wore for hard courts – in the elite echelon with Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 3 and the old Nike Zoom Breathe 2k12.

Here is the adidas description for Alexander Zverev’s shoe of cboice, the one he wore at the 2020 US Open…

adidas’ flagship lightweight shoe takes another step forward with the introduction of their signature Primeknit technology to the line. The lightweight knit bootie molds to your foot and accommodates feet of almost any width while at the same time offering support in all directions. The SprintFrame construction reinforces the lightweight upper for extra support and stability, especially during lateral movements. Break the speed of sound in comfort and style with the Ubersonic 2!

  • Upper: Primeknit bootie construction offers lightweight breathable support and a natural fit. SprintFrame technology helps lock in the foot and provides extra stability for aggressive starts and stops.
  • Midsole: Adiprene+ technology cushions unwanted shock and gives you excellent responsiveness with every step.
  • Outsole: Adiwear 6 rubber compound with reinforced mesh underneath reduces weight while still providing good traction and durability. The herringbone tread pattern is designed for use on any court surface.
  • Color: White / Black / Pink
