In 2022 the rotten tennis media mob spearheaded by Ben Rothenberg launched a vicious smear campaign against Novak Djokovic and tried to destroy him mentally and end his career – they failed. In 2021-2024 the same rotten media hate mob targeted Alexander Zverev for their next character assassination victim – yesterday they failed again.
Zverev took his case to court in Germany, to prove his innocence, a move one of his accusers never thought he would do. Today it’s being reported that the decision to not take the criminal trial further was initiated by Zverev’s ex-girlfriend (Brenda Patea). Zverev agreed to settle the case for the sake of their child and on the basis that he will not pay anything to his ex. Penalty charges were rescinded and there is no presumption of any guilt.
Zverev is completely innocent. He has never been found guilty of any accusations. Zverev paid 200,000 euros to cover court fees with 50,000 euros earmarked for a mental health charity. Patea gets nothing.
Zverev was previously exonerated by an over a one-year long ATP investigation (which assembled a team that included former senior police chief inspectors). Now Zverev has been exonerated in a court of law because all of the evidence provided by his ex-girlfriend was being shredded. Zverev has been found completely innocent of all accusations.
Remember all accusations were made to a tennis reporter, there never was any police report filed. The accuser claimed Zverev strangled her in his apartment in May 2020.
According to information from BILD, the ex-girlfriend Patea, who appeared as a joint plaintiff, is said to have “contradicted herself and stuttered during her questioning on Monday after just a few questions from judge Barbara Lüders.” Patea broke down in tears crying. The accuser, a model, then asked for a break and said via her lawyer: “She’s not feeling well, she’s hoarse and has a fever. She has to go to bed.” According to BILD, Patea had her accusations against Zverev completely withdrawn. She was not present at the court decision.
Now all the tennis media who participated in the character assassination agenda against Zverev, lead by Rothenberg, will have to face the legal consequences and loss of credibility.
Zverev, the former US Open finalist and Olympic gold medalist, is competing in the semifinals of the French Open tournament and is two matches away from winning his first Grand Slam title.

Basilashvili had similar treatment but was officially acquitted of domestic violence charges.
He level of play seemed to nose dive after the stress of allegations. He was once a top 20 player.

Yes that was unfortunate. You think the accusations were false then too? Why would they have an agenda or motive to destroy an outsider player like Basilashvili?
Steve · June 8, 2024 at 7:46 am
Well there were some nasty characters who did masty things in Hollywood which gave birth to the “me too” movemnet. Unfortunately some tennis players got painted with the same brush. Also, young, attractive, jet-setting millionaire tennis players are easy targets for a quick settlement.
If you are implying that some leftist journos hate all things Russia and anyone from a Russian allied country I wouldn’t argue against it.

Steve, the mainstream tennis media work for the tennis establishment. Whatever agendas they push are what the establishment wants pushed. For some mysterious reason Zverev became a target. The only logical explanation that makes any sense is Team 8 being fired by Zverev in late 2020 early 2021. I think it’s possible this whole smear campaign/character assassination was unleashed by Team 8 vengeance on Zverev. Nothing else makes any sense. Team 8 gave him the fat paydays for the South American exo tour with Federer and the Laver Cup payday (he played the first four, none since firing Team 8). Any other ideas on any motives for this Anti Zverev agenda?

I personally don’t like him because he is very conceited which is different than being confident. I assume he is targeted because of his Russian heritage. The ATP doesn’t even show the Russian flag by any Russian player’s names- that is a fact. As if the players should are to be blamed for international issues. I actually hold sports above politics which is one of the tennants of the Olympics. Apparently Zverev speaks Russian with his family instead of German and is very much Russian.

Steve, I have interviewed Zverev seen him play countless times, first as a 15 yr old at Sarasota Open qualies and as a teenager at Citi Open (with Mladenovic and Bencic in the stands watching him) and of course many times since he became an elite player and I have never seen any evidence whatsoever that Zverev is conceited. Very nice young man, I’d even say he’s a class act. If he’s targeted for being Russian, then why aren’t Khachanov, Rublev, Medvedev? I don’t buy that.
Steve · June 9, 2024 at 11:05 am
Why do they hide their flags?
Steve · June 9, 2024 at 11:15 am
So, yeah, do some digging into why they are hiding their flags which is certainly targeting them. You tell me who ordered that. Rublev is not harassed because he bent over backwayds to say what the powers that be want to hear. It was an embarrassing display. The male Russian players are all walking on egg shells.
Steve · June 9, 2024 at 11:22 am
…as far as conceit. He famously said “I have the most powerful backhand on the tour” Who goes around saying that? LOL
Steve · June 9, 2024 at 2:45 pm
Did you not see what Netflix did to Medverdev? They made a collage of all his worst moments. Why not the others?
Perhaps if you are the wrong type of Slav any little mistake will be targeted.
Imagine if Medvvedev did chrystal meth like Agassi. LOL

One of the agendas of the netflix propaganda was to villainize Russia. Same as all media. Russia Putin are bad. israel is our greatest ally and the only democracy in ME who we have to pay $10m a day so they can murder babies and women.
Scoop Malinowski · June 9, 2024 at 3:39 pm
All players have this self belief, they have to. Read my Facing Djokovic book to learn what Novak really thought of Rafa’s backhand. Read my Rios book to learn what Rios really thought of Sampras backhand lol. Players are delusional about their own talents and shots of rivals. I have the evidence
Scoop Malinowski · June 9, 2024 at 3:40 pm
They don’t recognize the Russia flag as it’s all part of the villainization of Russia agenda.
Steve · June 9, 2024 at 7:21 pm
I agree but I think it leaks to some other Slavs like Djokovic. The ones that love God & freedom. LOL
