Novak Djokovic was eliminated at the 2026 Roland Garros tournament, that we all know.
However his spirit is still in Paris and winning on Court Chatrier…
Allow me to share the words and sentiments of the four 2026 Roland Garros semifinalists….
Cobolli: “Novak has been my idol since I started playing tennis.”
Arnaldi: “Novak Djokovic is my idol since I was a child.”
Mensik: “Novak is the reason I’m here. I started playing tennis because of him.”
Zverev: “There’s nobody I respect more than Novak.”

In the spirit of Andy Murray if I were Cobolli’s coach I would pay Dominic Thiem an appearance fee to sit in our coaches box wearing a t-shit saying “I didn’t choke in 2020”.

Good idea in a way but Thiem has too much class and respect to do something like that or even show any kind of support for Cobolli, not that Cobolli would even consider such a scheme which would not faze Zverev at all. But nice colorful calculating there Steve. )
