First Tennis Memory: “I was watching the tennis on TV when I was six years old. It was Australian Open and I don’t remember who it was…I think maybe Martina Hingis.”

Tennis Inspirations: “I like Serena Williams. She’s a role model for me.”

Current Car: “I don’t drive. I don’t have driver’s license [laughs].”

Last Book Read: “Jane Green, Fault In Our Stars.”

First Famous Player You Met Or Encountered: “I saw Roger Federer, juniors Roland Garros. I saw him [laughs].”

Greatest Sports Moment: “Definitely when I won the third round Wimbledon against Zvonareva. And first title in Tokyo (2017).”

Most Painful Moment: “When I had surgery on my shoulder (2011).”

Favorite Tournaments: “Wimbledon. I love the tradition and history.”

Strangest Match: “Not really, I don’t remember.”

Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: “Strawberry [laughs].”

Funniest Players Encountered: “I don’t know this person but I think it’s Novak Djokovic – as I saw all of his videos [laughs].”

Favorite Sport Outside Tennis: “No, I like only tennis [laughs].”

Embarrassing Tennis Memory: “No, no. I don’t…oh yeah, in Wimbledon I lost the doubles 60 60, that was really embarrassing [laughs]. (Against who?) Shvedova and Medina Garrigues.”

Why Do You Love Playing Tennis: “Because I love to win. I love to compete. And it’s really a great feeling when the crowd is with you.”

People Qualities Most Admired: “I like honesty. The truth. I like sense of humor [smiles]. And to be trustworthy. Loyal.”

    Nice Biophile. I don’t recall seeing her play until last night but I like Zarina Diyas. She showed a lot of class in the post game interview after beating CiCi.
