I asked these tennis journalists in the Miami Open press box for their three best tickets in tennis?
Ricky Dimon, The Grandstand: Depends on the setting. Nadal at French Open. I’m a Nadal guy. I like unpredictable guys, people that you don’t know what you’re gonna get, like Nick, Fognini. Younger guys like Felix, Tsitsi, Shap.
Richard Pagliaro, Tennisnow.com: Definitely Federer. But you can’t leave out Nadal or it looks like you’re dissing Nadal. When Kyrgios is ready to play – that match with Nadal was amazing. Creative players, Fognini, Hsieh. Andreescu is totally different than everybody else. She has more variety, she shows emotions.
Vanni Gilbertini, Ubi Tennis:Â Somebody who plays really well…probably Shapo. I like Wawrinka. Who else is good to look at…young players, you have to like Kyrgios. I’d like to add a woman player…Carla Suarez Navarro is beautiful to look at because of the backhand. And back in the day the Bryan brothers doing all the changes and volleys. Plus they look the same so that visual. If you play doubles you know how difficult it is, they make it look easy. Kontinen and Peers also.e
Richard Evans, Tennis media legend: Always Federer. Andreescu. She has so much variety. And Kyrgios. I love Osaka but Andreescu can do so much more.

It’s interesting how many mention Andreescu, although she has been so successful on the main tour for under 3 months now.

Right Hartt, it shows Andreescu is a sensation, she is making huge impact on the sport in such a short time. It is a surprise she is receiving this credit and respect, interesting also that no one mentioned Djokovic or Serena. I will continue to ask more media for their thoughts.
