David Goffin defeated Roberto Batista Agut in the final of Montpellier 57 64 62. Goffin has now won the last four meetings with Agut after losing the first three of the rivalry which began in 2012 in Quimper, France Challenger, won by Agut 64 in the third. The title is Goffin’s fourth ATP singles title, which is five less than Agut’s nine.

In Cordoba, Argentina, Juan Manuel Cerundolo, a qualifier playing in his first ever ATP World Tour event, beat Federico Coria to reach the final where he will duel Alberto Vinolas Ramos. Cerundolo, age 19 and a lefty, is the first man to reach an ATP final in his debut since Santiago Ventura did it in 2004.

Cerundolo won the final 60 26 62 vs. Ramos.

Australian Alexei Popyrin won his first ATP title in Singapore by beating 4 seed Alexander Bublik 46 60 62. The 21 year old ranked 114 defeated Marin Cilic in the semi.

Iga Swiatek did not lose a set all week in Adelaide, as she cruised to a 62 62 final victory over Belinda Bencic. This is the second WTA title for 19 year old Swiatek, who also won Roland Garros in 2020 without dropping a set.
