Christian Harrison’s Dedication Paying Dividends

Finally the career of Christian Harrison is blooming. He’s 24 now and has endured eight surgeries.

Yesterday Christian beat Alex Bolt 63 46 75 for just his second ATP main tour win, the previous was in 2013.

Harrison has had surgery on his left femur, both wrists, both hips, right shoulder, and both adductor muscles. He also suffered mononecleosis in 2013 and a bone infection in his leg as a teen.

Through it all somehow Harrison managed to keep his focus on a pro career. He’s been a pro for 11 years now having turned pro at age 13, the same year older brother Ryan did.

Harrison’s win vs Bolt assures he will break into the ATP top 200.

Tennis is a tough sport to succeed in so just imagine the vast supply of dedication and perseverance of Harrison for having endured his physical frailties along with trying to beat the best players in the world.

Harrison is proving to be a very special player. It’s a miracle that he’s managed to get to where he is now.

He will meet Steve Johnson in the second round today.

Henri Laaksonen will beat Simone Bolelli completing his lucky loser kicking of the Italian boot at the SkiStar Open. He stopped Londero who shone so brightly at Sarasota challenger Scoop.

I had no idea Christian carries a burden to rival a Brian Baker. He is due some payback.

Lucky loser finally avenges himself and Christian’s 1st rd. loss at Laurel Oak to Londero. Small world sweet for this ballboy.

Laaksonen comes good to boot the boot as predicted above. Bravo
