The Elizabeth Moore Sarasota Open ATP Challenger tournament will now be staged at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida from April 5-12.
Last year the popular event was played in South Sarasota at the Sarasota Sports Club however new ownership at that club made some changes to the venue which disrupted the ability to host the professional tournament. After months of searching for a new site, IMG Academy has been selected.
“Jimmy Arias (IMG tennis director) really rolled out the red carpet for the 2026 Sarasota Open,” said tournament co-owner and lead sponsor Elizabeth Moore. The deal was reached late last week.
The gigantic academy in central Bradenton will be the third different location in three years, in 2024 and 2023 the tournament was contested at Payne Park in downtown Sarasota.
Last year’s Sarasota Open champion was Emilio Nava. Thanasi Kokkinakis won the title in 2024 and Daniel Elahi Galan won in 2023.
