Raw Report From Laver Cup London

By Mister X

Note: Our secret source reports with raw insights and observations from Laver Cup in London…

Alex deMinaur “the Demon” down a set and a break storms back to topple US Open champion Zverev 11-9 in tiebreaker.

A-Train Agassi key to comeback. When Demon was down in second-set tiebreaker, Agassi started yelling: “Check his oil! Check his oil!!”

Incredibly, the heckle disguised as coaching inspires Demon who made a diving Pat Rafter style forehand volley in breaker to take second set breaker then storms back from down in the super tiebreaker to shock Zverev.

A-Train after only mediocre results coaching Djokovic, Dimitrov, exhibits an amazing coaching display with multiple card plays throughout match.

After Demon wins second set breaker, A-Train walks over to the water cooler and starts banging the lid up and down like Oscar the Grouch banging his garbage can lid for maximum noise, exhorting fans and players to fire up even more. A-Train yelling may well have gotten into AZ head unless AZ was Lougainising.

Then when Demon storms back to save a match point at 8-9 and then win 10-point super tiebreaker, A-Train delivers Bryan Bros style chest bump hurling himself into Demon.

Demon to A Train: “You like that? You like that?”

A Train to Demon: “I love it! I love it! I Want to lick that blood right off you!”

A-Train super intense captain excellent job. A-Train’s battle cry “Check his oil!” Already surpasses Annacone’s: “Control the Controllables.”

Laver Cup highlight showcases the Return of King Krasny! King Andrew Krasny now official voice of Laver Cup.

When King Krasny introduced Rafter as “a swashbuckling serve-and-volleyer with a Massive Kick Serve” the camera showed Rafter actually laughing at King Kransy passionate if overblown intro. Rafter Himself moved to laughter by the King Krasny Hype Man build up.

Also, learned today how easy it can be to fix one point on a match point – tournament played the flashing scoreboard card. Kader Nouni ruled replay the point. Any tournament in world could play that card on a match point to save a player.
