Kyrgios and Opelka Rebuke The Tennis Media

Last year American rising star Reilly Opelka blasted the mainstream tennis media as being the worst.
This week Australian star Nick Kyrgio shared similar resentful sentiments towards the media.
‘Sport is supposed to unite people. People from different countries come together to compete, no matter what colour or race you are… it’s a joke,” said Kyrgios. “The media has ruined the sport. By dividing people and turning it into this (Djokovic vs anti Djokovic feud).”
This fact that two very prominent ATP players hold the tennis media in the lowest regard possible, begs that several question must be asked. And answered.
Just how many other ATP players privately resent the tennis media and the nefarious, biased, lousy way it goes about it’s business and how it presents the sport in an inaccurate light?
Just what are the consequences and ramifications in the long run for the sport having a media which several key players openly detest?
How will the ATP react to the fact it’s own players resent how the media is doing it’s job? Will the ATP punish the players and continue to let the mainstream tennis media provoke, insult, offend and irritate it’s top players with his political activism activities and biased coverage of the sport?
Or will the ATP take appropriate actions against the media for inciting such venom and vitriol from Opelka and Kyrgios and, no doubt, several more players?
Pro tennis is at an important pivot point in history as Serena, Roger, Rafa and Djokovic are not very far from their final chapters. And it’s an important matter for the sport to make sure the players and it’s media do not have combative, antagonistic and distrustful relations.

Just to be unequivocally clear: it’s confirmed that Novak didn’t break any rules and there were no determined issues with his paperwork or exemption, which was valid. Hawke states this clearly in the court docs. He was deported for the govt not liking his public opinions. That’s it. This was a witch hunt to backstab the world’s greatest champion because he trusts natural immuity and won’t be coerced, bullied and pressured to inject the big pharma drug shot which doesn’t work. the anti-Djokovic lynch mob may have won this battle but the war is far from over and Djokovic, like Muhammad Ali, will gain support and popularity for his brave stand against covid tyranny.

Sam, How would McNamee know that and everyone else doesn’t? They had it in for Novak no matter what. He could give millions to the poor, for vaccine research, etc, nothing was going to be enough. They wanted his head on the platter and they did it. It would seem the no. 1 motive was to deny Djokovic this chance to get 21. The conspiracy may rig FO and WIM and US Open too to kick out Novak.

Just to add ewes are so predictable in their fear that we always invest in what the fear mongering system invests in. Thanks to this fear becoming apparent earlier on and predicted a long time ago by Nobel Prize winner inventor of the PCR system amongst others like James Corbett. He wanted so hard to prove that Djokovic is not an “anti-vaxxer.” 🙄 As if intelligent people cannot honestly oppose vaccines? 🤔 Saying, “I am not an anti-vaxxer, BUT . . .” or “Player X is not an anti-vaxxer” is a wimpy way of saying that you’re either afraid of thinking differently from the crowd, or afraid of others who do. 😬
While Djokovic may be leaving Australia, in the final analysis, he hasn’t lost anything worth keeping. The real winners are those who don’t compromise their beliefs.

Sam,Novak lost US Open but in defeat he gained a respect from the crowd he never felt before and it may have been worth more than any of his GS wins. He didn’t win the 2022 AO title but he gained more respect from the world for his stand for freedom of choice than establishment puppets Fed or Nadal ever did or ever will.
