Scoop, tomorrow couple of interesting matches. Steve Johnson is “home” against Zach Svadja… Johnson slipping and needs to make some noise. Tough assignment, Svadja has baseline firepower. Johnson will slice him to death. Experience vs. young gun.
Kozlov vs. Marcora… the latter has been mostly an underachiever and has the skills if you’ve seen him. Not saying he’ll win, but if Kozlov is Kozlov, Marcora can snatch it. I would be all over the Marcora moneyline.
Errani somehow still has a ranking of 100… surprisingly. Always loved watching her. Her ability to just keep everything in play and vex opponents… with little firepower especially on hard. Hope she can emerge, would like to see her have another run on clay after this. Her serve is so bad it’s worth tuning in to.
Bradley Klahn vs. Popyrin. Poor Klahn has had a lifetime of injury. No chance to beat Popyrin, tough matchup.
Eubanks v Marterer. Chris should get thru without a problem. It’s time we see a run from him.
Kudla is due for a run. Faces Muller tomorrow.

Cory, IW qualies is always great. Johnson can’t win anymore, he must have lost a step. Kozlov’s confidence tank is on E. Errani may have to be dragged off the pro tour. Klahn vanished for years, the fact he’s still out there grinding indicates self belief, He’s had some decent scores against very good players. Let’s see if he’s got one more last hurrah though I can’t even remember any of his previous hurrahs. But Burgos and Pecotic proved, never give up. Eubanks just lost to F Lo, he’s hungry. Kudla is always there around 100, Muller just won a Challenger I think or finaled.
