Federer and Serena To Depart Together?

The time has arrived that we know the end is near for Roger Federer and Serena Williams. Two of the greatest and most decorated champions in the history of the court sport, can longer win the matches they used to win routinely.
They continue to play on with their extraordinary talents and fighting spirits hoping to capture at least one more last hurrah. But by the looks of things, that isn’t going to happen. Both are 39 and approaching age 40 this summer. They aren’t getting any better and everybody else is.
The conundrum for each is how to exit the tennis scene in a clever, original departure.
We’ve seen it all throughout history, all the grand tributes and final emotional bows, but there is one new way to do it, that’s never been done before.
Federer and Serena can join forces and call it quits together, with an element of surprise and mystery added in. Wouldn’t it be magical if Federer and Serena decide to play Wimbledon mixed doubles together and then let the chips fall where they may?

Sam, so you are not convinced Serena has been totally honest about her personal details. If it’s a hoax, they have pulled it off.
