The Elizabeth Moore Sarasota Open ATP Challenger will return to IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL for its 2027 edition.
The popular professional tournament was contested for the first time at IMG Academy earlier this year after short stints at Sarasota Sports Club in 2025 and at Payne Park in downtown Sarasota in 2023 and 2024.
Tournament sponsor Moore said, “There’s no better place to hold the Sarasota Open.”
This year’s champion was Yibing Wu of China. The 26 year old defeated American Stefan Dostanic in a thrilling final in April. Like so many previous Elizabeth Moore Sarasota Open standout players, Wu followed up his success in Sarasota by almost knocking off Novak Djokovic in the first round of Wimbledon earlier this month, forcing the 24 time Grand Slam winner to four tightly contested sets, all of which could have gone either way.
The Elizabeth Moore Sarasota Open has attracted a list of famous sports world figures who have attended the event in the past including Nick Bollettieri, golfers Nelly and Jessica Korda, MLB great Bobby Bonilla, basketball icon Dick Vitale, and tennis stars Marcelo Rios, Petr Korda, Tommy Haas, Jenson Brooksby, Kathleen Horvath, Brian Gottfried and Jimmy Arias.
Many famous players have competed at the Elizabeth Moore Sarasota Open such as Alexander Zverev, Sebastian Korda, Nick Kyrgios, James Blake, Sam Querrey, Kei Nishikori, Frances Tiafoe, Ryan Harrison, Christian Harrison, Alejandro Tabilo, Thanassi Kokkinakis, Reilly Opelka, Tommy Paul and Tennys Sandgren.
