Excellent, excellent draw, Scoop. The best I’ve ever seen at Delray. This will be my first year in many that I’m not attending the event as I will be going to Indian Wells and Miami. But in year’s past, usually the biggest names were Blake, Haas, Malisse, Karlovic and one year, Andre did show up, and lost if memory serves me, to Guillermo-Garcia whatever his name is, the Spaniard, but I could be wrong.
We’ve seen Ricardo Mello win this event, beat Spadea in the finals in 2004 I believe, Nishikori, Haas and others win. Del Potro won last year, too bad he isn’t back to defend his crown. But to have Roddick and Isner and Karlo and Troicki, Cilic and Melzer is special. Wonder why Harrison or Young or Querrey aren’t playing. Enjoy.

Harrison pulled out after Memphis claiming a shoulder injury I think. Not sure about the others.

DY is not following up his strong 2011 like we expected, he’s mired in a slump. This could be a make or break year for DY, he’s gotta beef up that serve, like Luke Jensen says.

The draw has really opened up for Gulbis; Falla, Darcis, Matosevic than the winner of Kohlschreiber/Dodig and Sela/Nieminen.
