Patty Schnyder Still Battling at 39

Former WTA top ten star Patty Schnyder hasn't give up pro tennis yet. She's 39 now and ranked 146 in the world. The Swiss lefty has played nine events this year, compiling a 9-9 record. Roland Garros Talk: Is Serena Breaking The Rules?

serena WTA player Arina Rodionova asked a very good question on Twitter. Nothing against Serena's outfit, looks pretty cool actually. But just wondering how is that allowed by the rules if we are only allowed to wear legging until the middle of the calf the longest, and ALWAYS have to wear skirt/shorts on top of the leggings. Roland Garros Fasten Your Seatbelts

ernie Ernests Gulbis won his first ATP main draw match in eons today, beating Gilles Muller in four sets. Gulbis has won four matches in a row since qualies. Earlier this year and late in 2017 Gulbis was losing to unknown players ranked well outside 300 like Benjamin Hassan and Manuel Gulnard and Zsombor Piros.
