TAG: I like Isner to win the Big W. Do you have a long-shot winner?
I’ll have to ask ATP stats man Greg Sharko, but it seems like with 13 American men in the main draw of Wimbledon, this may be the most the Americans have had for quite some time. You’ve got everybody playing from Roddick to Brendan Evans. Even a guy like Ryan Sweeting got in and he lost in the last round of qualis. There is not such good news for Mardy Fish, if both he and Marin Cilic win their first-round matches, Fish, who is looking grass-court-ready entering the Big W, would have to play the No. 11-seed in the second-round. Querrey, the other in-form American, has a tough first-rounder against Ukrainian Sergey Stakhovsky, who is in the finals of the warm up tournament to the Big W this week, and then if I read the draw right, Sam will have to face Andy Murray in the third round.
