I think we should recreate a new ATP narrative: “The Novaknopoly.” Six Miami titles – 28 Masters Series titles – nearing $100 million in career earnings – gradually chipping away at the Federer record of 17 Grand Slam titles – winning head to head records vs Rafa Roger and Andy… the sky is the limit for what Novak Djokovic is going to achieve over the next five years of professional tennis.

The player calls the shots – the player has supported the coach financially for years – if the player opts to cut ties before the big bonus for the coach the coach has to suck it up – life isn’t fair – the player calls the shots – it’s the players who wins on the court – if a coach challenges the player in this situation (bites the feeding hand) do you think that coach will ever get hired again?
