I asked a source within the Australian Davis team what the status was with Bernard Tomic who curiously has skipped the last two ties for Australia.  When asked what’s happening with the 24 year enigma the source replied “He’s probably partying somewhere.”  Then the current ATP player quickly added with a hopeless shake of his head: “He’s lost his mind.”   The talented Tomic is ranked 43 in the world right now but has only two wins on the year (2-6). Tomic has not played since losing to Bjorn Fratangelo 26 26 in Indian Wells.
