“Sensative” Serena reigns supreme, earns #1 ranking again

Serena Williams, against so many odds, has attained the WTA ranking again with a dramatic win over Petra Kvitova in Doha.

Serena, at 31, is now the oldest to hold the highest ranking, surpassing Chris Evert’s previous record.

A “sensitive” Serena shed a few tears during the emotional on-court post match interview, admitting she thought she might never get back to the top of tennis while also graciously thanking the fans for their devoted support, a factor she said she appreciates because she doesn’t always get this kind of love from fans at all the tournaments.

Outstanding effort by Serena to overcome injuries and various setbacks to once again reign supreme as the best female tennis player on the planet…
