Early Tennis Memory: “Probably just playing down at the park with my brother. And playing the Saturday afternoon fixtures down in Adelaide. It’s like afternoon competition, just teams against each other around the region.”

Favorite Meal: “Probably pasta. (Put anything on it?) Probably varies. Lots of different things [laughs].”

Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: “Chocolate.”

Pre-Match Feeling: “A bit nervous. Just getting ready, pumped up, trying to stay calm and not get too nervous.”

Funny Tennis Memory: “A few years ago in New Haven a ball came over the net and then went back over to the other side and hit our opponent before we could hit it. So that was a bit strange, it never happened to me before. That was a bit funny at the time [smiles]. (Who did it hit?) Nicole Pratt.”

Greatest Sports Moment: “Winning the U.S. Open. And probably winning mixed doubles at the Australian Open (with Scott Draper in 2005).”

Most Painful Moment: “Losing in the final at the French Open.”

Favorite Tournament: “Australian Open.”

Closest Tennis Friends: “Oh god, probably just the Aussies.”

Funniest Player Encountered: “Francesca Schiavone is pretty funny. She’s a bit of a clown out there.”

    I suppose it would be indelicate during a biofile to ask if she’s juicing ?

    Nice grabbing this one on her big day. Muller still best one of the week for me.
