Tennis Inspirations: “Who is my example, right? I like very much players like Ferrer actually. And I usually be inspired by Agassi and Graf when I was young. Now it’s more like a player like David Ferrer. And I’m also inspired by Kimiko Date Krumm. Those two players for me are great athletes and I love to follow them.”

Closest Tennis Friends: “Oh, I have plenty. Radwanska, Sabine Lisicki, Virginie Razzano, Maria Kirilenko, Venus Williams, a lot of friends.”
Funniest Players Encountered: “Agnieszka Radwanska. Because she’s really funny, she’s always laughing, she always makes some great joke. And she sometimes dances in the locker room [smiles].”
Toughest Competitors Encountered: “I play many times against Dementieva and for me was one of the toughest to play because I always lost against her.”
Embarrassing Tennis Memory: “Not really. It’s embarrassing when I can’t play my best tennis when I have some personal reasons and can’t really enjoy my time.”
Funny Tennis Memory: “Most of the time in the locker room or when I play doubles with Virginie Razzano or Alexandra Dulgheru is also one of my best friends.”
Strangest Match: “When I was in Spain four years ago and I was in semifinals. And I found a big group of bees following me on the court. So I had to run from the other side of the court because the bees were attacking me. But it was all over the court and everybody else too.”
Why Do You Love Playing Tennis: “Because I think my destiny was to play tennis before I was born. Because my brother before me was playing tennis and my dad decide to bring me on the court. Why I love tennis is because I love to compete and that’s why I love tennis.”
Favorite Sport Outside Tennis: “Every sport made by speed.”
People Qualities Most Admired: “I like when people are honest and when people are happy. And I think honesty is the most important for me.”
